The current research examines the multifaceted Muslim Rohingya refugee crisis and its implications for Bangladesh and India relations. The crisis, originating from systemic persecution in Myanmar, has resulted in a significant influx of the Muslim minority that gave rise to the Rohingya refugees’ crisis Bangladesh, straining its resources and raising security concerns. Bangladesh's humanitarian response contrasts with India's more cautious approach, emphasizing national security and immigration control. Thus, this study analyzes the humanitarian, security, and political dimensions of both countries' responses, exploring their impact on bilateral relations. Additionally, this paper discusses cross-border challenges and the role of the international community and offers policy recommendations for improving refugee management and cooperation. The findings suggest that, while there are areas of cooperation between Bangladesh and India, significant challenges remain, necessitating ongoing diplomatic engagement and international support to foster regional political relations and achieve a sustainable resolution to the crisis.
