Abstract

This book review is of: Taylor, Charles. The Ethics of Authenticity. London, England: Harvard University Press, 2003.

Charles Taylor’s The Ethics of Authenticity, is an excellent work till date that has analyzed the malaises of our modern world. His description is systematic and quite easy to follow. It rings with truth and he ensured that this bitter-truth would not sway us completely off the track of modernization. The book is of philosophical genre that can be read by philosophers, religious scholars; and teachers and students who harbor the interest in aforementioned subjects. This academic review includes a detailed chapter-wise summary of ten chapters, analysis, critique and recommendation of the book.
